Travelling with your pet to the EU or Northern Ireland? You’ll need an Animal Health Certificate (AHC), and it must be issued by an Official Veterinarian (OV) within 10 days of travel.

As soon as you are aware of the dates of your travel plans, let us know. At least 7–10 days before travel. Your pet must have had a rabies vaccine at least 21 days prior.
10 days for entry into the EU, and up to 4 months for onward EU travel and re-entry into the UK.
