Travelling with your pet to the EU or Northern Ireland? You’ll need an Animal Health Certificate (AHC), and it must be issued by an Official Veterinarian (OV) within 10 days of travel.
We take the stress out of the process by handling it all in your home. We’ll check your pet’s microchip, confirm up-to-date rabies vaccinations, and complete all official paperwork - so your pet’s adventure begins smoothly and legally.

When should I book this?
As soon as you are aware of the dates of your travel plans, let us know. At least 7–10 days before travel. Your pet must have had a rabies vaccine at least 21 days prior.
How long is the certificate valid for?
10 days for entry into the EU, and up to 4 months for onward EU travel and re-entry into the UK.
Do I need a new AHC for every trip?
Yes. A new certificate is needed for each journey into the EU or NI.
Do you provide this from home?
Yes - no clinic trip needed. We come to you for the full assessment and paperwork.
