About the service
Many active pets don't need their nails clipping particularly regularly, but some older or less active pets can need them trimming quite frequently. This helps avoid discomfort when walking and other more serious foot health problems.
Of course, pet owners can often do this themselves, but if you aren't sure what you should be doing, then it is much better to leave it to the experts. Dogs’ nails have a ‘quick’ containing nerve endings and blood supply, and cutting into this can be a really painful experience for them.
Our team is fully trained with many years experience. We can perform the nail trim, but for nervous or sensitive pets it can be a stressful experience. Being in the comfort of your own home can help, but our nurse team can also help with behavioural tips and tricks which will normalise this process over time.

What's included?
A member of our nursing team will visit you in your own home, discuss the needs of your pet and perform a nail trim.
We only perform nail trims if they are required and only after an assessment.

Simply call or email us, letting us know your requirements. We will schedule in an appointment at a time that suits you.
What services do you offer?
We offer a very wide list of services. We are a fully registered veterinary practice, only we deliver our services in the comfort of your own home, where you and your pets are most comfortable. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements with one of our nursing team.
Do you offer urgent appointments?
We do not directly offer emergency or out of hours cover, but we do have partner providers. For urgent or emergency service, please get in touch and we can direct you appropriately.
What is your staff experience?
All our staff are fully qualified, fully insured and registered with RCVS. We are a fully registered veterinary practice, the only difference being that we are mobile and come to your home.
